Meg Faure: Why I love this product

“Your baby’s sleep position is an important factor in how well she sleeps. While we advise that babies sleep on their backs due to the risk of SIDs, it results in a ‘flat’ and stretched-out position, in which many babies won’t settle. The reason is that babies want to cuddle and do best when curled up in a flexed position, with boundaries.

When Emily was little and had horrid reflux, the only way she could sleep was in her Nurture One cushion. This amazingly soft ‘pillow-mattress’ positions new-borns ideally. I can assure you your newborn will sleep better on the Nurture One cushion. It’s one of my baby essentials!”

Description

With your baby′s need for containment and peace in mind, nurtureOne has designed a uniquenesting cushion. The cushion assists with snug position for sleeping, which in turn encourages calm and relaxation. Allowing for a smooth transition from breast or bottle to crib without changing position, the nurtureOne cushion answers to every parent′s question: how can I help my baby sleep well?

The nurtureOne nesting cushion:

  • Becomes a sleep association as your baby grows
  • Molds around your baby, creating a womb-like environment, for containment and calmness
  • Stimulates sensory motor development – does not impede movement so babies can bring their hands to the mid-line and self-soothe
  • Provides boundaries in bed
  • Prevents Flathead syndrome as you position your baby in a soft and supportive environment
  • Allows for smooth transition from breast or bottle to baby’s bed.

CAUTION: You must only use this product with your baby sleeping on her back and as soon as she can roll remove it.
